As Vice President, Business Development, Jimmy is responsible for the team tasked with raising millions of dollars in corporate support for the PHS Philadelphia Flower Show and PHS programs such as Plant One Million, City Harvest, Pop Up Gardens, Tree Tenders, and the Neighborhood Gardens Trust, among others. Jimmy also works with internal and external stakeholders to find creative and strategic ways to promote and enhance the work of PHS throughout the region and on a national scale.
Prior to joining PHS, Jimmy spent many years leading the corporate giving team at New York Restoration Project where he served on the original strategic team that devised of and launched the MillionTreesNYC program with the Bloomberg administration and the NYC Department of Parks. In addition, Jimmy secured millions of dollars in support though corporate partnerships, volunteer programs, event sponsorship and corporate foundation grants.
Jimmy serves on the Board of Directors at the Riverbend Environmental Education Center and is Chair of the Development Committee. He has held positions in marketing and communications in both Boston and New York. Jimmy lives in Havertown with his wife Dyana, a theatre director, and their two children.
